After the electrophoretic separation, the gel is to be subjected to a plurality of treating steps:
- drying
- staining,
- and (3) washing for removal of non-bound dye, before evaluation is initiated.
Hellabio staining-destaining baths are suitable for the manual procedure of staining and distaining of the gels.
