Principle and Methodology
The HELLABIO Agar Gels in acid are suitable for the quantitative determination of total glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1) as well as for the separation of HbF and for the differentiation of HbS from HbG, D, Lepore and HbC from HbΑ2, E,O.
The analysis is generally based on the simple electrophoretic separation of hemoglobin's according to their molecular weight and charge in acid buffer.
