Lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides and phospholipids) are insoluble in the blood and circulate in combination with proteins as Lipoproteins. Using Hellabio gels four main classes of lipoproteins may be identified ( Chylomicron, beta- pre-beta and alfa lipoproteins ).
