Hellabio was established in 1986 and is located in the Business Incubator Thermi in Thessaloniki ,Greece.

The main objective of Hellabio is the Research and Production of pattern innovator biological reagents for
in vitro use. Hellabio’s status as a small company has the great advantage of being flexible and responsive in an ever changing and growing industry.

Hellabio’s experiences are particularly great in the section of Electrophoresis on Agarose Gels.

Generally, Agarose Gels, compared to other supports, such as cellulose acetate, provide greater and sharper resolution, have higher sensitivity and reproducibility; therefore the use of Agarose Gels is much more practical and convenient.Additionally to these benefits of Agarose Gels, the user of Hellabio’s Agarose Gels has the unique advantage of getting various types of sample templates and gels of different sizes. These make the user independent and able to overcome the problems of conventionality of the gels to the already existent electrophoresis tanks and densitometers.
